Osceola | 3.06.2021

Peak: East Osceola, Osceola
Trails: Greely Pond Ski Trail, Mt Osceola Trail
Mileage: 7.63
Elevation Gain: 3,265′
Weather: Good visibility, 7(F), feels like -8(F), 81% humidity, 10MPH Winds.
Ground Conditions: The ski trail was well packed down up to the junction. After we turned and started climbing up the Mount Osceola Trail, the trail was still mostly in great shape except for a few one off postholes. The trail was very easy to follow between the summits and felt a little bit softer until we got up to the clearing up on Mount Osceola. The bypass at the chimney section was easy to follow with careful steps, will include photos for those curious.
Notes: Not much for crowds out there today. Saw 2 other cars at the trailhead when we arrived at 7:25am. Counted 5 people wearing spikes and 8 or so people wearing snowshoes. Glove found at trailhead is pictured at the bottom of the page as well as the sign at the trailhead requesting hikers wear snowshoes.
