Elevation Gain: 3,977′
Weather: Cloudy, 38(F) at the trail head but felt like mid 40(F)’s for most of the day! Humidity 69% with a steady breeze for most of the time at and between peaks.
Ground Conditions: Plenty of ice (Pictured below) at either summit. There were plenty of sections where it made sense to wear micro-spikes or light traction. After climbing up and around Passaconaway, I took the spikes off around the Rollins/Dicey’s Mill junction.
Notes: Felt like a spring hike with the mid forties temps hiking over some of the icy sections!
