Bondcliff | November 18, 2020

Peaks: Bondcliff
Trails: LWT > Bondcliff Trail
Mileage: 18.00
Elevation Gain: 3,171
Weather: Cloudy, cold, 19(F) at the trail head and felt like below zero at the summit with the wind chill. Once I got past the short scramble near the summit, there was a steady wind with occasional gusts. Overall limited visibility and wasn’t able to get any full shots of Franconia ridge or Garfield.
Ground Conditions: Plenty of ice and snow at the summit and it made sense to make use of the hillsounds. Not much snow and ice at the base of the bondcliff trail but it gets snowier and icier as you reach the upper sections.
Notes: Saw 6 total people all day. One of these folks was Rich Gamble in the middle of a direttissima!
